Do you want to help start a brand new LSS group home in Borrby?
This spring, we will open an LSS group home for elderly users in Borrby. We are now looking for employees who want to be involved from the beginning and help build the operation.
In our lovely bright premises, socializing and community will be a guiding principle. We will offer activities such as walks in the beautiful surroundings, cooking, shared meals, gym, and bingo.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a support assistant with us, you will be an important part of the team working around the users in the group home. The residence will be characterized by a warm and homely atmosphere where our elderly users within LSS receive the care and stimulating everyday life they desire.
We work with the users' best interests at heart, and you provide the user with personal support in all conceivable activities and situations. This may involve support in managing their household, personal hygiene, leisure, or social relationships.
The assignment also includes performing medical tasks delegated by a nurse and assisting users with self-care. You are there to support the user in developing and maintaining abilities and communication, considering their disabilities.
You work to ensure that the user's participation, self-determination, independence, and personal integrity are respected. You are the contact person for one or more users, and it is you who, together with the user, establishes and follows up the implementation plan.
Your work includes daily documentation in the social journal, LifeCare. In your work, you use agreed working methods such as clear pedagogical methods, low-arousal responses, and AAC. Daily, you use tools and methods you have learned about and follow the action plans and routines that apply to the operation.
An important part is collaborating with relatives, daily activities, municipal primary care, healthcare, and other individuals or professional categories in the user's network. You are also a support to your colleagues and contribute to a good working environment. You will have the opportunity to make a difference in other people's lives through work that focuses on personal relationships alongside a group of wonderful colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school or vocational diploma from the care and nursing program, child and leisure program, social pedagogy, or other equivalent education with competence in the disability area as assessed by the employer. You are a trained nursing assistant, support pedagogue, or have other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent.
- Good computer skills and documentation experience
- Good ability to understand and express yourself in spoken and written Swedish
- Ability to perform both physically and mentally demanding tasks
- Interest in pedagogical working methods and user-centered work
- Good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and in a team
- Good adaptability with a strong solution focus
- Initiative-taking and independently seeking knowledge and solutions
Meritorious:
It is meritorious if you have work experience in disability support/LSS, professional experience and knowledge of clear pedagogical methods, experience working with challenging behavior, familiarity with the concept of manage-evaluate-change, AAC or TAKK, a natural low-arousal response, a B driver's license, and experience with the LifeCare operational system.
